Check Engine Light
One of the most common and well-known indicator lights, this warning should be treated with care. It is a very general light, usually shaped like an engine, and could indicate anything from a faulty sensor to a costly engine problem. Service as soon as possible.
Battery/Charging
When this light illuminates, your vehicle’s battery or charging system could have an issue. It’s critical to check your battery life and make sure all connections are secure.
Oil Light
The oil light, which looks like an oil can, can may indicate one of two things - that your vehicle needs an oil change or that your oil pressure is dropping dangerously low. The seriousness of the situation is usually indicated by whether the light is yellow or red.
Tire Pressure Monitoring System
Another indicator light that can be yellow (less serious) or red (more serious), the Tire Pressure Monitoring light alerts drivers to when their tire pressure is getting low. This simply means one of your vehicle’s doors is still open. Sometimes it also comes on when the trunk is ajar, too.
